How to Write Better Frame to Video Prompts
Describe motion that is not already visible. Name what the subject does, how the camera behaves, what moves in the environment, and how the clip should settle. The uploaded frame supplies appearance; the prompt supplies time.
Use chronological order. A reliable structure is subject action, camera motion, secondary motion, continuity requirement, and ending behavior. This gives the model an actionable sequence instead of an unordered list of visual adjectives.
Keep the request proportional to duration. One strong action and one camera move are easier to control than several unrelated events. Generate a focused draft, identify the weak moment, and revise that instruction.
Direction and perspective
Camera Motion Prompts
Camera language changes how a still composition becomes a shot. Name direction, speed, subject relationship, and how the move finishes.
Slow Push In
The camera makes a slow controlled push toward the subject, preserving facial identity and composition while background depth shifts naturally, then eases to a stop on a tighter hero framing.
Cinematic Pull Back
The camera pulls backward smoothly to reveal the surrounding environment, keeping the subject centered as foreground and background layers separate with natural parallax.
Clockwise Orbit
The camera performs a slow clockwise orbit around the subject, maintaining its shape and scale while highlights travel across the surface and the background changes with realistic perspective.
Horizontal Pan
The camera pans from left to right at a steady speed, following the subject while foreground elements pass naturally and the horizon remains level.
Tracking Shot
The camera tracks beside the moving subject at matching speed, preserving a stable profile view while clothing, hair, and environmental details respond to motion.
Crane Reveal
The camera rises gradually above the foreground obstruction and tilts down to reveal the full scene, ending in a balanced wide composition with smooth vertical movement.
Performance and identity
Character Motion Prompts
Describe body mechanics and subtle secondary motion while protecting face, clothing, proportions, and the visual style established by the frame.
Natural Walk
The character takes several natural steps forward with realistic weight transfer and arm movement, maintaining the same face, clothing, body proportions, and continuous camera perspective.
Turn Toward Camera
The character slowly turns head and shoulders toward the camera, eyes settling on the lens as hair and fabric follow with subtle delayed motion.
Subtle Portrait Motion
The subject breathes naturally, blinks once, and makes a small confident expression change while facial structure, skin detail, hairstyle, and framing remain consistent.
Clothing in Wind
A gentle breeze moves the character clothing and hair in one consistent direction while the body remains grounded and identity details stay unchanged.
Sit to Stand
The character leans forward, places weight through the feet, and rises naturally to standing in one continuous action without changing clothing or facial identity.
Gesture and Hold
The character raises one hand in a clear deliberate gesture, secondary fabric motion settles, and the pose holds naturally at the end of the shot.
Morphs, reveals, and scene changes
AI Transition Prompts
A useful transition prompt names the mechanism that hides or explains the visual change instead of merely asking for a smooth result.
Organic Morph
The first subject transforms gradually into the second through continuous material growth, preserving the central silhouette while surface detail changes from the inside outward.
Whip Pan Transition
The camera accelerates into a fast rightward whip pan, directional motion blur fills the frame, and the second scene resolves as the camera slows into a stable composition.
Foreground Wipe
A dark foreground object passes close across the lens from left to right, naturally concealing the scene change and revealing the second image behind it.
Particle Rebuild
The first image breaks into fine luminous particles that follow a controlled spiral path and reassemble into the second image, with no hard cut and a clean final hold.
Match Shape Transition
The camera moves toward the central circular shape until it fills the frame, then pulls back from the matching shape in the second scene with continuous direction and scale.
Day to Night
Warm daylight cools gradually, clouds travel across the sky, practical lights turn on in depth order, and the scene settles naturally into the supplied night image.
Commercial motion
Product Video Prompts
Product prompts should protect geometry and branding while specifying controlled camera movement, material response, and a deliberate hero ending.
Hero Rotation
The product rotates slowly on its vertical axis as the camera makes a subtle opposing orbit, clean reflections move across the materials, and it settles at a three-quarter hero angle.
Unboxing
The package opens panel by panel with precise physical movement, the inner product rises into view, and the camera tilts upward into a polished commercial hero shot.
Assembly
Components move into frame in logical order and connect cleanly to assemble the finished product, maintaining exact proportions, materials, and logo placement.
Macro Detail Reveal
The camera glides slowly across the product surface in a macro shot, focus shifts between material details, and the move finishes on the primary feature.
Color Variant Transition
The product color changes through a controlled wave traveling from left to right while shape, texture, logo, lighting, and camera position remain unchanged.
Floating Packshot
The product lifts gently from the surface and rotates a few degrees as soft shadows and reflections respond, then returns to a stable centered packshot.
Environmental motion
Atmosphere and Environment Prompts
Secondary environmental motion makes a frame feel alive. Keep forces consistent and avoid asking every element to move at a different speed.
Soft Wind
A gentle wind moves leaves, grass, hair, and loose fabric in one coherent direction while the camera remains stable and the main subject holds position.
Rain Builds
Light rain begins gradually and becomes steadier, small ripples form on wet surfaces, reflections deepen, and distant atmosphere grows softly hazy.
Morning Light
Warm morning light travels slowly across the room, dust catches the beams, curtains move slightly, and exposure remains natural without changing the layout.
Fog Reveal
Thin fog drifts laterally across the scene and gradually reveals the subject, preserving depth layers and settling into a clear final view.
Water Movement
Water moves with small physically coherent waves, reflections stretch and compress naturally, and nearby plants respond to a light breeze.
Snowfall
Fine snow falls at varied depths with gentle wind drift, distant contrast softens, and a subtle layer accumulates on horizontal surfaces.
